Rules & Flow
How to play
Chain choruses from memory. Hesitate and you draw. Here is the full flow from setup to restart.
Setup
Before the first chorus
- 1Gather 2 or more players.
- 2Queue an instrumental on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, or our Music page.
- 3Shuffle the Angels & Sinners deck.
- 4Choose before you start: Angels only, Sinners only, or mixed.
Step 1
Start the Chorus Flow
Put on an instrumental from Spotify, YouTube, or our Music page. A player opens with the chorus of any real song.
Step 2
Continue the Flow
The next player must immediately sing another chorus. Last last... I can buy myself flowers... Because I'm happy... keep it moving.
Step 3
Avoid Failure
You fail if you pause too long, cannot think of a song, sing one that does not exist, repeat a song already used, or break house rules.
Step 4
Draw a Card
The failed player draws from the deck. Angels only, Sinners only, or mixed, whatever the group chose at setup. Perform the dare.
Step 5
Restart the Flow
The player who failed starts the next round with a fresh chorus. The cycle repeats until the room cannot stop laughing.
House rules we love
No repeats
Once a chorus is sung, it cannot be used again that session. Repeat one and you fail automatically.
The crowd decides
If the group says you paused too long, blanked out, or faked a song, you draw a card.
Pick your deck
Angels only for wholesome nights. Sinners when the room is ready. Mixed for the full experience.
Failed player restarts
After the dare, the player who failed opens the next round with a brand-new chorus.
Phones encouraged
Record the chaos. Tag #SingSurviveSuffer. We might feature you.
Skip with consent
Any dare can be skipped with group approval. Comfort matters.
